I'm Chris. I've been in construction my whole life, and I come from a rich family history of home builders who molded me into who I am today. Growing up around the trades taught me how homes really go together — and how much homeowners deserve someone looking out for them.

For more than two decades I've worked with countertops in Hampton Roads. I've had my own countertop fabrication and installation company, and I've seen firsthand how much homeowners spend and how easy it is to feel unsure when choosing a slab, comparing quotes, or preparing for installation. Eventually I moved on from fabrication so I could help customers in a different way — with my interests on your side of the table, not the sale.

The Countertop Advocate exists to put that experience in your corner. I don't sell, fabricate, or install countertops anymore. You hire and pay your chosen fabricator and other trades directly. My job is to help you understand your options, ask the right questions, and make decisions you feel good about.

I love helping people and making them feel comfortable in the decision-making process. Big purchases like countertops shouldn't feel overwhelming — with the right guidance, they don't have to.

Customers may also qualify for preferred pricing through my fabricator connections. Pricing varies by project. You are always free to choose any fabricator. If I receive referral compensation from a fabricator, I will tell you.
